Sergeant Nikki Wright asks Phil and Leela to question residents on the Maycroft Estate to find a Bangladeshi girl, who Ronnie Newton has accused of robbing his convenience store. Phil and Leela bring Meghla Abedin in, who claims she didn't take money from the till. When Nikki quizzes one of Ronnie's employees, Josh Carey, he reveals that he heard Meghla arguing with Ronnie then running out of the shop so fast she couldn't possibly have stolen from the till. With this new evidence, Nikki and Phil arrest Ronnie for attempting to pervert the course of justice.
