Rani is playing it cool with her mother and Ajay notices his daughter's mood. Worried that he'll uncover the truth, Priya downplays Rani's behaviour and writes it off as teenage moodiness. However, Ajay can't resist questioning his daughter and Rani comes close to saying what she thinks she saw between Priya and Paul but, still not entirely sure, she decides to keep quiet. Then, when her mum seems to overcompensate again, Rani's suspicions are raised once more. Karl believes Tash and Summer need a distraction and Carmel suggests they help at the Community Christmas Appeal, wrapping presents. However, Summer starts to realise that Carmel is keen on Karl and he's innocently fuelling her interest. Summer decides she has to tell Karl but he dismisses the very suggestion and tells her to drop it. And Conner pesters Toadie to have a bachelor party but the father-to-be isn't keen on the idea, insisting he has to behave more responsibly. Desperate to make his friend do the right thing, Connor enlists Sonya's help and Toadie is eventually persuaded.
