Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are back in this belated sequel to the 2001 comedy hit.
Stiller's absurdly dim model Derek Zoolander remains an endearingly silly comic creation and so is Wilson's Hansel, Derek's narcissistic rival.
The film's high-camp send up of the fashion world is decked out with gags galore, but the result is a gaudy mess rather than high-class couture.
Famous faces abound, however, including Penélope Cruz (chief of Interpol's fashion division), Kristen Wiig (a grotesque, vowel-strangling fashion queen) and Will Ferrell (returning as arch villain Mugatu), not to mention game-for-a-laugh cameos from the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch, Susan Boyle, Justin Bieber and Sting.
