Carley Stenson may be busy working on Legally Blonde: The Musical, but the actress has revealed she still misses the cosy surrounds of Hollyoaks. The former soap star's character Steph Cunningham died in March, but Carley hasn't ruled out the possibility of joining another soap in the future. "I miss the familiarity of it. I felt really safe and secure there because I was there for such a long time. I miss the people but anyone I'm close to, I still see, like Ashley [Taylor Dawson, who plays Darren Osborne] and Jimmy [McKenna, who plays Jack Osborne]," she told Star magazine. As for whether she would appear in a soap again, she replied: "Never say never. I don't think I could ever return to Hollyoaks now they've killed me off but you never know." Carley has landed her "dream job" playing Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, with West End star Lee Mead as her leading man. But the actress admitted on-stage kisses aren't as real as they look. "Obviously, it's not actually a real kiss - there's no tongue flicking in or anything like that! He's dead sweet, all the ladies are well jealous of me. One of my best friends from home is very jealous."
