Hollyoaks' Fraser Black will be killed off in the soap in a new murder mystery this spring.
The village gangster has made no end of enemies since he arrived as a love interest for Sandy Roscoe (Gillian Taylforth) last summer, meaning the mystery is more likely to be who didn't have a motive to kill him rather than who did.
The Channel 4 soap has released a trailer of upcoming storylines, which ends with the police finding a body which they say matches the description of Fraser (Jesse Birdsall).
Other plots teased in the trailer include Joe Roscoe waking up from his coma, the tragic conclusion to Sinead O'Connor's baby Katy's illness, John Paul McQueen's day in court and Maxine Minniver's fears that she could be pregnant.
The investigation into Doctor Paul Browning's death will also continue, with hints that Mercedes, Cindy and Lindsey's involvement will be revealed.
