Hollyoaks' Dodger: 'I've had proposals online'

Hollyoaks hunk Danny Mac has revealed he's received proposals of marriage from fans on Twitter. The soap star - who plays lothario Mark 'Dodger' Savage in the Channel 4 show - has over 12,000 followers on the social networking site as dannymaconline and enjoys receiving messages from fans. Danny told Inside Soap magazine: "People say they love Dodger, or that they think he's fit. I've even had a few marriage proposals, which is weird - I assume they weren't serious!" The actor, who joined the show in April, admitted he does share some qualities with his cheeky bad boy character. He said: "I'd definitely say that there's a little bit of me in Dodger. But obviously I'd like to think that it's all of the good bits, rather than the bad bits! "It's fun to go into work and say and do things that you never would in real life. And the viewers seem to like Dodger - most girls wouldn't date him, but can see his fun side."
