Hollyoaks' Kieron Richardson: It'll be weird seeing Amy with another man, especially Duncan James! (VIDEO)

Kieron Richardson is relishing the prospect of Duncan James joining Hollyoaks, but not if he comes between him and his kids!

Duncan will soon debut on the Channel 4 soap, playing Ryan, the new boyfriend of Ste's ex, Amy Barnes, and the mother of his two children.

Kieron told What's on TV at the British Soap Awards it is an 'incredible' coup getting Duncan on the show.

"Apparently, here's a little joke for you, he Blue them away in the audition!" said Kieron. "I think he's going to be a really good actor and a really great addition to the show. It's going to be weird to see Amy with another boyfriend, because I haven't really seen that before. Obviously the children are involved, who I love in real life as much as on screen, so if he starts getting on with the kids better then me I'll be like 'They're my children!'"

Kieron added: "The first [scenes] that I read highlight that Ste is a bit of waste of sapce and Ryan is this God-like character, so I think that's how it's going to play for quite a bit."

But is Ryan as pure as he seems? "I don't think we're going to get together. I know Duncan put a Tweet out the other day that we're going to be working VERY closely together, but not in that way... I don't think. But it's Hollyoaks, anything can happen."
