Axle Whitehead, best known Down Under as a singer and presenter, is joining the cast of Five soap Home and Away. Speaking on The Morning Show - which was co-hosted by Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts - about his character, Liam Murphy, Axle described him as 'a national rock star'. He continued: "He's got a wife and a kid and he's got a bit of an addiction problem so we meet him in rehab, where he spends quite a bit of time with Belle, played by Jessica Tovey." Viewers briefly saw Liam in the soap back in March, when he offered Belle drugs at one of his own concerts. Axle went on: "The first few episodes are about him and going through his addiction problems and then going back to Summer Bay and causing a few rifts with a few relationships. "But I won't say any more... You'll have to watch." Axle appears in the coming weeks in the UK.
