Home and Away's Steve Peacocke has revealed his character Brax will have the chance to make his peace with dead girlfriend Charlie Buckton. Policewoman Charlie died in 2011 after suffering fatal gunshot wounds, and bad boy Brax was left heartbroken, struggling to move on with new love Natalie Davison (Catherine Mack). But Esther Anderson, who played Charlie, recently returned to Summer Bay to shoot a few episodes. Steve revealed: "That idea of wanting to talk to someone after they've gone, I think that's pretty universal. So many people say, 'I wish I could have said this, or if I only had another chance.' So it plays on that a little bit." And he teased Charlie's return may not be a one off. "It's good. It's quite dramatic, we shot a lot of stuff and I don't know what will happen in the future either. You never know, maybe it's not the last time..." Steve added: "The fans will really like it. It was a sensitive storyline I guess, because so many people miss Charlie and miss the Charlie/Brax thing so it was a good way to bring it back. "He thinks he's had this one love that's gone... and obviously the fans need to see them together again. But it's done in a way I was surprised by and I think the audience will be too." The Home and Away hunk enjoyed working with Esther again. He said: "It was good fun to shoot with her, and she's been in LA and she did a pilot for a cool TV show over there, so her acting is even better than when she left. She's just going from strength to strength."
