Eighties pop legends Bananarama, Boy George, Jason Donovan and Erasure took to the stage last night at BBC Children in Need Rocks the 80s. The show will be aired on TV later this year.
Eighties stars a-Ha, Bananarama, Boy George and Jason Donovan were among a string of performers to take to the stage at last night's BBC Children in Need Rocks the 80s.
The concert, presented by Fearne Cotton and Sara Cox, was held to celebrate the decade in which the first major Children in Need appeal was launched.
Other performers included Mica Paris, Erasure, Europe and UB40, as well as X Factor winner Louisa Johnson.
As well as the stars singing some of the decades best-loved songs, the show will share moving stories from some of the children and young people who have been supported by projects funded by BBC Children in Need as the charity aims to raise more money to help change young lives through this year’s appeal.
The concert will be televised on the week commencing November 13th in the run-up to the annual Children in Need show.
