Hollyoaks matriarch Myra McQueen could be set to leave the soap with a bang with a big over-the-top wedding. Single mother-of-seven Myra, played by Nicole Barber-Lane is told by evil Doctor Browning that she has a shadow on her lung, and she immediately jumps to the worst conclusion - that she is dying. But her secret trips to the doctor spark rumours among her family that she is pregnant and boyfriend Dirk Savage asks her to marry him. Nicoel told Inside Soap magazine: "Dirk tells Myra exactly what she wants and needs to hear from him. It's very emotional and she happily accepts. "I think Myra and Dirk are great together. She's never married the fathers of any of her kids - and however tragic the circumstances, she'd want to go for a big wedding." But while Myra trusts Dr Browning, the man who saved her daughter Mercedes from prison, Nicole hinted he may not have given her a truthful diagnosis.
