Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky) got into a fight over Tanya Branning. But they were stopped in their tracks when Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) got caught in the crossfire and fell onto the pavement. Ronnie (Samantha Womack) was furious and yelled “She’s pregnant you idiots!” at the men. Jack, Sean - and Roxy - were all stunned. That was not the way her baby news was meant to come out, and as both men were possible dads, it gave them something more serious to think about than Mrs Branning…
The honeymoon didn’t last long for newlyweds Heather and Minty Peterson (Cheryl Fergison and Cliff Parisi). Minty missed a lunch date with Hev because he got sidetracked knocking back the wine with mate Garry Hobbs (Ricky Groves) and a couple of air hostesses. It was a case of water, water everywhere for the Barlows when the kitchen ceiling sprung a leak. Ken (William Roache) called a plumber while Deirdre (Ann Kirkbride) grabbed every utensil she could find to catch the downpour. Once work on the leak was under way, Deirdre though it might be the perfect time to install a new bathroom suite, but her mum Blanche (Maggie Jones) was doubtful that the chap she’d got in was up to that challenge!
10 Years Ago - Emmerdale
When Jo Sugden (Roxanne Pallette ) ended up in hospital with a fractured wrist, her husband Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) told people she had slipped on a wet floor. But later it was clear that Jo had fallen foul of his evil temper again (this time after a row over her goat business) when he apologised for hurting her. Jo was teary as she reminded Andy that he had said that the last time it happened. How long would she put up with him abusing her?
Gray Sinclair (Christopher Villiers) said he was off to a business meeting so when Katie Sugden (Sammy Winward) found some papers she thought he would need, she and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) headed over to the address where he’d been dropped off by cab. Outside the flats, the pair were gob-smacked to see Gray kiss estranged wife Perdy goodbye. Katie decided not to confront the pair there and then, but to bide her time… She wasn't happy!
10 Years Ago - Hollyoaks
Max Cunningham (Matt Littler) was devastated when he found out fiancée Steph Dean (Carley Stenson) and Niall Rafferty (Barry Sloane) had shared a kiss. Niall, to be fair, tried to tell Max that the kiss had been one-sided, but Max was so hurt and angry he took his frustrations out by hitting Niall. Steph saw the punch and was furious… and told Max he’d blown any chance of them getting back together. D'Oh!
Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) was thrilled when Louise Kennedy (Roxanne McKee) was released from prison after Jake Dean was persuaded to confess to killing her husband (a murder actually committed by Warren!). But prison had changed Louise, her experience behind bars had made her a lot tougher, and people – including Warren – were about to discover she was no longer a pushover…
