Chris Packham: Hedgehog populations have fallen by 90 percent (VIDEO)

Chris Packham and the rest of the team are returning for another wildlife extravaganza this month as the Springwatch cameras head to RSPB Minsmere on the beautiful Suffolk coast once more.

We caught up with Chris to ask what exciting new projects he, Michaela Strachan and Martin Hughes-Games have for the new series.

He revealed that after a badger managed to swim out to the avocet nesting site last year, the team have electronically tagged eight badgers in the hope of finding out which who the culprit is...

Chris is also desperate for us to help out hedgehogs, which according to new research, are dying out faster than tigers!

Springwatch returns to BBC Two on Monday, May 25
