Coronation Street reveals potential DOUBLE DEATH for one family next week

There are tough times heading for one Weatherfield family when some bad news leads to the most dramatic week of their lives...

Coronation Street has confirmed that there could be double heartache heading for the Barlow family next week when Sinead and her newborn baby are both at risk after an emergency delivery.

After months of dreaming about holding their baby in their arms, Daniel and Sinead are set to meet their new arrival sooner than they thought when doctors reveal they have to deliver the baby immediately.

The shock announcement comes after the pair get some awful news, according to the official show website...

"Sinead receives the devastating news that her cancer has grown and she must give birth to her baby immediately, but how will Daniel react?"

The website spoilers for next week also reveal that while Sinead gives birth to a baby boy, the arrival won't be plain sailing...

"As the baby is whisked away to neonatal, Sinead passes out. Is Daniel about to lose everything?"

With both his wife and his newborn son in danger, helpless Daniel will surely be left reeling, wondering if the two most important people in his life are going to survive their ordeal.

While the baby initially seems to be okay, there is more bad news for the family...

"An emotional Daniel introduces Ken to his tiny son, but when the doctor explains he needs to examine the baby privately, Daniel is left deeply concerned. Will both Sinead and the baby be okay?"

It seems that what should have been the happiest time in their lives, welcoming a new baby into their family, turns out to be utterly heartbreaking for the couple.

Even if Sinead survives the traumatic birth next week, will she be able to fight her cancer and live to see her son grow up?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
