Gemma Winter is torn.... just like viewers!

Coronation Street fans are fiercely split on whether Gemma Winter should date Henry Newton, Chesney Brown or neither!

On Wednesday evening, Chesney attempted to confess his feelings for Gemma, but his efforts were interrupted by posh boy Henry, who then declared his love for Gemma!

So, should Gemma forgive Henry after he originally only dated her for a bet? Some viewers certainly think so…. “So cute, that storyline with Gemma and Henry. I know he treated her terrible. But to come back and make it up and say he loved her. Owe it gets you all gooey lol”.

Sally Ann Matthews, who plays Jenny, commented: "Gemma & Henry sitting in a tree K I S S IN G x".

But, not everyone is prepared to forgive and forget Henry's past actions. And reckon Gemma should go out with Chesney. "Don't do it Henry, Chesney is the one," said one fan. While another said she shouldn't be bought off with Henry's offer to make her landlady of the Rovers.

However, one thing everyone can agree on is how much they love Gemma as a character!

Dolly Rose Campbell, who plays Gemma Winter, has said of the scenes: “I think the viewers will be shouting at their TVs for Chesney to tell Gemma how he feels and not let Henry muscle back in. But Chesney doesn’t say anything and, to Gemma, he’s still just her best mate. He does mention he doesn’t think Henry is to be trusted, though.”

Coronation Street continues on ITV.
