Dangerous liaison! Maya seduces Jacob this evening... as David heads their way!

David Metcalfe could at last discover the dreadful secret that his girlfriend Maya Stepney has been having a forbidden affair with his teenage son Jacob in Emmerdale this evening.

Maya has been doing everything in her power to stop anyone from finding out what’s been happening for weeks between her and Jacob.

But David is on the warpath tonight because Jacob wrecked his date night with Maya. Seething with anger, the oblivious shopkeeper wants some serious words with his son…

Meanwhile, Maya is full of resentment because David decided to look after Amba rather than spend time with her, so she heads off to the village hall to sleep with Jacob.

“Whenever she feels vulnerable, Jacob offers the adoration and devotion that she needs,” says Louisa Clein, who plays Maya.

She adds: “Maya decides to seduce Jacob. Everyone else has gone home, so she says to him: “This is what I want, and I want it now.”’

Maya becomes jealous and heads out on a mission to sleep with Jacob in Emmerdale

Is this the moment that Maya and Jacob are finally caught out by David in Emmerdale?

Little does Maya know, though, that David is stomping off to the hall to have a go at Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant)!

As Maya and Jacob get intimate again, will David burst in on them? And, if he does, how will David (Matthew Wolfenden) react to discovering the shocking truth?

You might wonder why Maya sticks with David, well Louisa reckons it's because going out with David is perfect cover for her affair with Jacob.

"She doesn't feel any deep love for him; it's a case of needs must," she explains.

Maya and Jacob aren’t the only ones lying through their teeth tonight in Emmerdale as Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) returns from her trip away and feeds a pack of lies to fiancée Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) about where she’s been. Will Vanessa fall for them?

Emmerdale continues on ITV this evening at 7.00pm.
