Will Josh survive? And what’s David’s involvement?

David Platt’s rapist Josh Tucker will be stabbed during a prison riot in Coronation Street, it’s been reported.

The Sun claims that a riot will kick off in the jail where David’s serving his sentence for fraud and during the chaos his rapist Josh will be attacked.

It seems that David (played by Jack P Shepherd) and Josh will once again meet during the dramatic scenes and the big question is - is David the one who stabs Josh?

It’s also reported that the riot is so big that it will make the news, meaning that David’s family can see what’s going on. David somehow manages to phone his fiancee Shona and says that Josh has been stabbed and that he might die. He also won't answer when she asks him if he stabbed Josh - perhaps suggesting he did.

Of course, if David is the attacker, he’d surely end up with a very long prison sentence, which could wreck any hopes he has of marrying Shona.

Talking recently, Jack revealed his desire that David and Shona will one day have a huge wedding.

“I would like a massive one but know probably won’t get it because they haven’t got any money for one thing now he’s given the barbers to gran… I imagine it will be a registrar down the town hall.”

Coronation Street continues on ITV.
