Devastating baby news heading for THIS Coronation Street pair next week

Chesney Brown and Gemma Winter are about to get shocking news about their unborn quads...

Chesney and Gemma get bad news in next week's Coronation Street when they go for one of their routine scans at the hospital.

The parents-to-be have been on a rollercoaster of emotions ever since finding out they're expecting four babies together, but things are only set to get worse for the troubled pair.

After the drama of Gemma's mum Bernie arriving in Weatherfield, Chesney and Gemma were probably hoping for a drama-free few weeks leading up to the arrival of their quads.

But sadly that wasn't to be when Bernie's ex, Kel, turned up and started ruffling feathers.

However, while the drama between Kel and Paul and their shared dark past is going on, Chesney and Gemma out family problems to one side as they have a routine baby scan to attend.

The pair head off, excited to see how their little ones are doing, but they are left fretting when the doctors reveal that one of the four babies is smaller than the others.

The worried future parents are told that they will have to now go in for weekly scans instead of fortnightly, but that doctors aren't worried about the smaller baby's future.

As the pair head home, they are reassured that everything is going to be fine, but deep down they can't help panicking that someone awful is going to happen.
