Following the news Shane Richie is making an extended return to EastEnders as Alfie Moon, it looks like Hayley Slater could be in trouble.
Viewers last saw Alfie months ago begging Hayley to get a termination, after Kat’s pregnant cousin told him he was the father of her unborn baby.
Despite agreeing to the termination, Hayley’s now several months along in her pregnancy – and Alfie’s on his way back to the Square…
And fans are preparing for the inevitable fireworks. One wrote: ‘Kat is gonna go apesh*t when she finds out Hayley’s baby is Alfie’s.’ Another said: ‘Glad Hayley is getting support from her family until they find out Alfie is the daddy.’
But EastEnders have teased that Hayley’s news could stay secret a little while longer, after sharing a photo of Kat and Alfie with the caption: ‘The Kat that got the Moon’, letting some viewers hope the former couple will pick up where they left off.
One wrote: ‘Can Kat and Alfie run the Vic again now please? #EastEnders.’
With Alfie’s return having been teased for the Autumn, it looks like we won’t have to wait too long to find out what they’ve got planned for him…
