Yep, you can blame the footy!

EastEnders fans tuning in this evening for all the action from Albert Square will be in for a nasty shock because it’s not on!

After all the Mel and Ray wedding drama of last week, EastEnders viewers will be desperate to know what’s happening next as the soap confirmed that Charlie Winter, who plays Hunter, will be bowing out of the soap after blasting Ray.

But instead of Walford drama, the BBC is tonight showing the FA Cup game between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool. Yep, so soap fans have once again seen their favourite soap moved about due to the football! Remember all the chaos the footy caused last summer during the World Cup?

So, when is EastEnders on this week?

Well, there’s an episode on Tuesday night at 7.30pm. Tuesday also sees the return of Silent Witness!

EastEnders Evie Steele and Tiffany Butcher

Tuesday’s episode of EastEnders sees Evie Steele plant a passionate kiss on Tiffany!

There’s no episode on Wednesday.

Then Thursday’s episode will go out at 7.30pm. Thursday also sees the come back of Death in Paradise for a new run.

And there are two episodes of the soap this Friday (11th January) - the first goes out at 8pm and the second at 9pm. Does the late start for the second episode hint that something particularly dramatic is going to happen?

EastEnders continues tomorrow at 7.30pm.
