Ex-EastEnder Letitia Dean will make her TV comeback on Strictly Come Dancing, according to reports in The Sun. Letitia, famous for playing Dirty Den's 'princess' Sharon Rickman, quit the BBC1 soap in January 2006. But despite BBC chiefs saying she was only taking a short break, Letitia has not yet returned to the show. Grief-stricken Sharon was last seen leaving Walford after her husband Dennis (Nigel Harman) was killed on the orders of gangster Johnny Allen. He died after being stabbed by Johnny's henchman Danny Moon — days after Sharon discovered she was pregnant. Pauline Fowler (Wendy Richard) announced that Sharon had given birth to a baby boy called Dennis in July 2006. However, Sharon did not return for Pauline's funeral six months later. Letitia is a trained dancer who was a pupil at Sylvia Young Theatre School. On Wednesday night, a source said: "Tish has taken a year off but she aims to make a big splash with her TV comeback." Letitia joins Rod Stewart's wife Penny Lancaster, Gabby Logan and Debra Stephenson, who are thought to have already signed up to appear on the show. Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC1 in October.
