What a transformation!

It's been over 10 years since we last saw Kacey Ainsworth as Little Mo on EastEnders, and the 50-year-old actress looked worlds away from her Walford square character, as she recently hit the red carpet.

Dressed in a sequin jumpsuit and a pair of nude heels, as she attended the Gold Movie Awards in London, the actress looked completely differently to when she joined the BBC One soap in 2000.

And it seems Kacey's red carpet appearance has excited fans, with some calling for the actress to rejoin the soap.

"They should bring Little Mo back I’m sure they could squeeze her into the slater house one fan wrote.

Although Kacey recently admitted that she's currently 'too busy' to return to the show, she didn't rule out returning altogether.

During an appearance on Rylan Clark-Neal’s BBC Sounds podcast in December, she said, "My problem is I’m too busy. Every time we’ve had a conversation about it I’ve gone and got another job."

She added, "Then I’m not available for the year. I would love us to all get back together again."

Kacey first graced our screens as the "timid" member of Kat Moon's feisty family, The Slaters.

Earlier storylines revolved around her abusive relationship with her husband Trevor Morgan [played by Alex Ferns], who put her through many despical ordeals, including rape, beating and burning her.

She eventually got her own back on Trevor when she hit him over the head with an iron and he eventually lost his life when the Slater family home exploded after a fire he started and Little Mo lit a match, leading to her arrest in 2002.

She went on to have a happy marriage with Billy Mitchell [Perry Fenwick], but it faded after she was raped.

And in 2006, she left the square, following an affair with Alfie Moon and after she was accused of hurting her own child.

Since leaving the hit BBC soap, Kacey’s acting career has gone from strength to strength, with the actress taking up many roles in shows such as Granchester and Call The Midwife.

She played Cathy Keating in Granchester, Miss Gullet in The Worst Witch and Nancy in Call The Midwife.

It's great to know the actress is doing well!
