There's trouble on the horizon as Coronation Street confirms Chesney and Gemma's romance is already on the rocks...
It seems the honeymoon period is already over for Coronation Street's Chesney Brown and Gemma Winter next week when their new romance turns sour.
The loved-up pair finally get together tonight (Monday 4th February) after months of lusting after one another... putting Coronation Street fans out of their misery as they wait for them to realise they're meant to be.
But just days after their friendship turns into a romance, the reality of having a grown up relationship hits when they fall out over how to parent Chesney's son, Joseph.
The official website for Coronation Street revealed today: "When Joseph refuses to go to bed, Chesney threatens to ban any telly for a week...
"But Joseph fires a swear word he learnt from Gemma back at his dad and runs upstairs. Chesney berates Gemma for teaching Joseph a swear word and, with their evening ruined, Gemma heads off in a strop. Will they ever catch a break?"
Despite their romance apparently being doomed from the start, there have been rumours circulating that there is plenty more drama to come for the new couple.
According to The Sun the pair are set to become parents to quadruplets after spending just one night of passion together!
A source reportedly told the newspaper: "The show's new boss, Iain MacLeod, is keen to inject a bit of old-fashioned humour into Coronation Street like in the years gone by, and this storyline will have viewers in stitches.
"Gemma doesn't miss a trick and instantly thinks of ways she can make some cash out of her and Chesney's unexpected news."
But if the rumours are true, how will the pair cope with five children between them?
It sounds as though their relationship is about to get more serious than either of them ever expected...
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
