There's drama for the Platt family in next week's Coronation Street when Gail mysteriously vanishes...

Next week's Coronation Street sees trouble for the Platt family when Gail goes missing right before both her sons are due in court for sentencing.

Ever since David confessed to gran Audrey about what really happened to her missing money, he and older brother Nick have been at war.

But while Gail has been desperately trying to get her boys to talk, it seems her pleas have fallen on deaf ears and next week sees the troubled mum getting fed up with trying to patch up her broken family.

As Nick and Audrey both moan at her, it seems Gail can't do anything right. But they're all left feeling guilty when later on that day, Sarah points out that Gail is nowhere to be found.

By Wednesday next week Gail is still missing and the family really start to worry. But where could Gail have vanished to?

Convinced that her mum wouldn't just leave of her own accord when her sons are due in court, a worried Sarah calls the police and reports Gail missing.

However, while Gail is still missing, David and Nick have bigger things to worry about as their day in court arrives.
