There's danger heading for Paul Robinson in today's Neighbours as he meets his killer son, Robert, for the first time in years...

Neighbours favourite Paul Robinson is left terrified today as he comes face-to-face with his killer son Robert Robinson for the first time in 12 years.

Long term fans of Neighbours will remember Robert was last seen on screen back in 2007 when he was finally convinced of multiple murders and sent to jail in a high security prison.

Robert was one of triplets born to Paul and his former wife Gail Robinson, but while his brother Cameron and sister Elle were both fond of their dad, Robert held a huge hatred for Paul after he was absent for most of their childhood.

Not only has Robert tired to kill Paul multiple times, he also is indirectly responsible for the death of this brother Cameron, as well as David, Serena and Liljana Bishop, who were victims of his aeroplane bomb, which was meant to blow up Paul.

Understandably Paul is terrified of the son who has wanted him dead for years, and today he is set to meet him once again as David Tanaka tries to visit his estranged brother in prison.

While David and Robert have never met, they both share Paul as a dad, and doctor David has decided he would like to study his killer sibling as part of his medical study of criminal minds.

The drama starts today when Paul gets wind of David and Aaron planning something, and they have to cover their tracks by going along with Roxy's quick-thinking lie that they're fostering a child together.

While Paul is initially worried about the couple's sudden change of heart towards fostering, he soon comes around to the idea and decides to celebrate with a cake and gifts for the child.

However, Leo can't lie any longer and tells his dad the truth - David has gone to visit Robert in prison, and he has no idea the danger he is putting himself in.

Paul rushes to the prison to stop David, but it is too late. He has already come face-to-face with Robert and are about to start talking when Paul races into the room.

Robert is so angry at seeing his dad that he retreats back into the prison before uttering a word... leaving Paul to explain to David just how dangerous his brother is.

But there's another twist in the tale, because there is also someone else there to see Robert.

Paul is shocked to meet Harlow, who reveals she is Robert's daughter but they have never met, leaving Mr Robinson stunned to realise this young woman is his granddaughter.

How will Paul cope as he is suddenly faced with the most terrifying part part of his past?

And will Harlow want to get to know her grandad?

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5
