The actress told Daily Star: "Kim has been working in Scotland as a tour guide. If anyone can do that, it's Kim.

"But she is coming back soon, and I'm hoping it will be a big storyline. With Kim Fox it's got to be big. We can't just have her turning up at the cafe.

After playing legendary Kim for more than a decade, Tameka will be waiting to see what is in store for her character next.

Kim has been through some huge drama over the last ten years, including the disappearance of her beloved husband, Vincent Hubbard, in April last year.

Tameka admitted: "It will be great to be back on set. Being at EastEnders is like going on a holiday. Even though it is work, I enjoy it.

"I've had fans saying that they want to see Kim back on the show, which is really nice. It's really lovely. I do miss playing her, she keeps me on my toes. She keeps me busy.

"I'll be back for a good while. I don't want them to kick me out!"

So what could bring Kim back to the Square? Is she just back to see her sister, Denise? Or could she be back with news about missing Vincent?

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
