Reigning Britain's Got Talent champion Jules O’Dwyer and her dog Matisse will perform during this year’s live semi finals in a bid to confirm they are worthy winners after last year’s fakery row.

Their hugely popular win was overshadowed after it emerged that Jules used a second dog, Chase, for the high-wire segment of her winning routine…because Matisse was scared of heights.

Chase is the dog who walked the high wire…but the audience thought it was Matisse

At the time, more than 1000 viewers complained and ITV offered refunds to those who had voted as Ofcom found the show breached broadcasting rules.

Now Jules will appear during Wednesday’s live semi-final with a new routine and has already made it clear that more than one dog is involved, reports the Mirror.

“My aim is to better the last performance to prove we make magic on stage,” said Jules.

“I’m going to be doing a stunt that has never been done on TV before. It has taken me a year to train the dog and the audience won’t expect what happens.
