Christmas morning dawns and it's decision time for Chas. Trouble is, she doesn't know what to do. Should she marry Carl? Charity says 'no', but Chas's heart is shouting 'yes'. Chas puts on her wedding dress and looks at herself: the beautiful bride who doesn't know which way to turn. It's something Paddy says that makes up Chas's mind and she heads for the church. Charity is gobsmacked when Chas walks down the aisle, but will she walk back up it with Carl on her arm? Christmas for Hazel and Aaron isn't about Chas's wedding, it's about getting Jackson back to Emmerdale. Inside Dale Head cottage, Jackson's impressed by the work that has been done to make the house his home. At the end of the day, an emotional Jackson tells Aaron how happy he is to be there with him. The shine is taken off Katie and Pollard's Christmas Day. Katie's left feeling shaken when Henshall turns up uninvited to give her a Christmas present. She tells him she doesn't want it, but he leaves it in the house. Pollard's disturbed because he's being haunted by a woman called Elizabeth, who has him very worried. His CV includes spells as a news producer at the BBC and TVNZ, as well as web editor for Time Inc UK. He has produced TV news and entertainment features on personalities as diverse as Nick Cave, Tom Hardy, Clive James, Jodie Marsh and Kevin Bacon and he co-produced and directed The Ponds, which has screened in UK cinemas, BBC Four and is currently available on Netflix. 

An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
