Alfie and Jade daydream on the beach...

After a fun-packed imaginary day on the beach, Jade and Alfie cuddle up on the sand...

Alfie receives a letter and races to show Jade. Despite her brave face, Jade confides in Alfie that she’s scared. Alfie cheers Jade up by showing her the letter, which confirms they did discover a new comet and they call it ‘Jalfie’. As they’re talking, Jade’s eyes droop and Alfie calls for help. Dr Berrington tells the Osbornes, Alfie and Sonia to prepare for the worst.

Jade and Alfie use their imaginations to go to Southport. At the end of a fun-packed imaginary day, Jade and Alfie sit on the beach staring out to sea. They snuggle under a blanket and watch their comet fly above them – but when Alfie wakes from the daydream, Jade has passed away peacefully…
