Fletch is stunned when Mo Effanga's dad Clifford turns up on AAU, injured from a road accident. Mo's far from pleased to see him, given that it was his dodgy dealings that led to the vicious attack that left her sister Adele for dead! Clifford's clearly unnerved when Danny Jarvis, who was in the same car as him, is put into the next bed. When Mo learns Jarvis was the man who attacked Adele, it looks like she might give him a taste of his own medicine…
Later, when Clifford's rushed into theatre in pain, Fletch realises he's carrying packets of drugs in his stomach. Seems Clifford's more involved with Jarvis's criminal gang than anyone realised…
Meanwhile, when Jesse and Guy have differing approaches to a patient's treatment, it highlights the fault lines in their increasingly fractious friendship. Is their partnership strong enough to survive?
Also, Ollie and Seb clash over a case and, though their disagreement seems professional, could Zosia be the real source of their conflict?
