Belle faces Gemma's funeral

*Hour-long episode*

It’s Gemma’s funeral - and Belle has something to say at the service. Is she about to confess to all the mourners that Gemma hurt her head and died because she pushed her over? No… Belle reads the lyrics of Gemma’s favourite song: ‘Let Her Go’ by Passenger. ‘You see her when you close your eyes.’ says the song - and Belle does and it’s tearing her apart. Full of guilt, Belle takes off. Chas finds letters Belle has left behind for Lisa, Dom and Sean and she reads them. Now Lisa has to tell Chas and Cain what Belle has done - and beg them to help her find Belle before she finds a copper to confess to.

Ruby’s made no secret of the fact that a lack of money is holding up her plans to get pregnant. So when she finds a tin of cash in William’s house she’s sorely tempted to take it - especially as the old man has been pretty nasty. But Ruby’s not that kind of girl; she’s better than that. She does need a drink, though - and has one with Seb.

Marlon needs a plan for Kevin Bacon, John Hamm and Pjork. Rescuing the pigs from the abattoir with Paddy was heroic. Or was it foolish? Marlon’s starting to wonder as his little helper, Gabby, has declared she wants to be a vegan. And that’s upset her mum Bernice - a lot.
