However, she has to keep her involvement in the game a secret from her strict, disapproving parents. Meanwhile, team-mate Keira Knightley becomes her new best friend.

Though the big laughs are few and far between, it's hard to fault the energy and warmth of the performances and this feel-good movie dribbles happily along on smiles, chuckles and sweet-natured charm.
