When Pc Beth Green is given a lead from Katy Taylor on drug dealer Craig McKee, Beth volunteers to go undercover to trap him, and DS Max Carter reluctantly agrees. Beth attends a party as Katy's friend and, when Katy disappears, pirate radio DJ Lenny Jones takes a shine to Beth. While looking for Kate, Beth spots Earl Clarke with a gun and Max urges Beth to get out quick. As Beth and Lenny leave, uniform raid the party and Pc Tony Stamp arrests Craig. Outside, Lenny gives Beth his number and they kiss. Back at Sun Hill, Craig admits he works for Earl but says that Lenny knows more about him... At a meeting with DCI Jack Meadows, Sergeant Nikki Wright and Max, Beth is adamant that Lenny isn't a drug dealer, so Max insists she call him to arrange a date. As Beth and Lenny enjoy a drink, Earl turns up to tell Lenny to fix the rig for the pirate radio station and suggests that Beth goes with him. Beth is terrified when she and Lenny open the door and find themselves looking down the barrel of a gun...
