Peter Kay and Sian Gibson take to the road again in the first of two specials of Peter Kay's Car Share

At the end of the second series of Car Share last May, Peter Kay announced that there would be no more episodes.

But after fans begged him to reconsider, he has thankfully come up with two specials – this week’s Unscripted episode and a final ever episode in three weeks’ time.

No previews were available, but we do know that the Unscripted episode consists of Peter and his co-star Sian Gibson, as will-they-won’t-they colleagues John and Kayleigh, improvising to whatever comes on the car radio.

The two stars are long-time pals who know their characters inside out, so a funny (and possibly poignant) ride is guaranteed.
