Alicia is trying to steer clear of Eddie
Chelsea Halfpenny recently told us that doctor Alicia Munroe’s sexual assault storyline in Casualty may divide opinion saying “It’s left to you as a viewer to decide, based on what Alicia and Eddie say happened.”
In tonight’s episode that grey area is explored when junior doctor Eddie McAlister asks Alicia why she’s avoiding him and seems genuinely shaken that she’s scared of him. Chelsea excels as the quietly traumatised Alicia, while Joe Gaminara is commendably hard-to-read as egotistical Eddie.
Casualty continues on BBC1.
