Tortured paramedic Lev Malinovsky is thrilled that wife Faith Cadogan is ready to be discharged from hospital after sustaining serious injuries in an ambulance crash. Faith, however, has other ideas!

Faith (Kirsty Mitchell) is still reeling from the discovery that Lev (Uriel Emil) cheated on her with a man and, with Lev refusing to talk about his sexuality, she makes the shock decision. She is going to move in with her mum rather than return home to her husband and children.

But there's more to come... A sudden deterioration in Faith's condition leaves her fighting for her life. Will she survive?

Lev is further distraught when nurse Marty Kirkby (Shaheen Jafargholi) reveals he overheard Faith and Lev arguing about the affair!

Marty, who’s battled with his own sexuality in the past, kindly attempts to reach out to Lev, only for Lev to angrily turn on him.

With Lev’s life unravelling, Faith’s life hanging in the balance, and unable to accept the truth about who he is, will the panicked paramedic do something desperate? And is his secret safe with resident hospital gossip Marty?
