Jan Jenning reaches breaking point
Jan Jenning’s nerves are shot to pieces since embarking on a life of crime. This week the paramedic boss decides enough is enough and drives herself to the police station to confess to smuggling prescription medications into prison.
Jan reaches breaking point when an innocent stroll with Ffion leaves her in a terrified panic…
Close friend and confidante Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) is horrified when Jan reveals she’s going to turn herself in. Knowing Jan’s about to ruin her entire life Iain pays Ross a visit in prison and presents a plan to save Jan.
But it backfires when Jan’s wife Ffion Morgan (Stirling Gallacher) gets wind of the truth.
What happens now?
Shocking racist patient dilemma
Jacob Masters and his nurses are tested this week when teenager Keira is brought into the ED, quickly followed by her nasty, racist mother Shannon (London’s Burning star Katy Stephens).
Jacob (Charles Venn) instructs everyone to remain calm and professional, but the more they discover about the mother and daughter, the harder it becomes. Sickened by what she hears Jade - secretly shaken by a horrific attack on a night out - confronts Keira, which leads to life-changing revelations for the teen
Elsewhere, Leon is up against Iain for a permanent place on the paramedic team.
Fenisha does her best to help him prepare, but as soon as Leon learns Iain’s also going for the job his confidence crumbles…
Also in Casualty this week...
