Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby host the grand final of Dancing on Ice
With some incredible skating from many of the celebrities and the odd mishap or two (Gemma Collins, we’re looking at you!), this series has been must-see TV.
And now the remaining three celebrity skaters and their partners will show off their best routines for your votes.
The final two will then treat us to the performance we all want to see – their Bolero.
Who will follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner Jake Quickenden and be crowned Dancing on Ice champion 2019?
With a special performance from Torvill and Dean themselves, you won’t want to miss this!
TV Times rating: ****
‘This series has been tremendous,’ says Chris, 60. ‘The celebrities have really challenged themselves and brought the level up so high.’
Jayne, 61, agrees, saying: ‘Any of the three finalists could go all the way.’
Before the final, in an exclusive interview with TV Times, Jayne and Chris hand out their own awards to this year’s skating stars…
Wes Nelson
Chris: Wes has been the most surprising skater for me.
Jayne: He had no previous experience, not just in terms of skating but also performance and dance training. When Wes and Vanessa [Bauer] did their headbanger in week five’s fairy tale-themed episode, the studio audience went crazy!
Saara Aalto
Jayne: Saara has worked really, really hard this series. Sometimes she’ll attempt things that she finds a bit scary, but she gives everything a try and always aims to do her best.
Brian McFadden & Alex Murphy
Chris: Brian and Alex have been the best partnership. I think they laugh a lot, which you do with Brian. He’s the king of one-liners. They’ve really formed a great bond.
James Jordan & Alexandra Schauman
Jayne: We all thought the ballet routine in week five was amazing.
Chris: Everyone says he has an advantage being a dancer, but everybody had a similar ability when they stepped on to the ice. He’s really finessed his moves, and can make himself look lovely on the ice.
