David's unease over his relationship with Del continues to grow and he leaves her disappointed when he doesn't invite her to a big party at the Kings. David spends the evening flirting with Katie and he steps in when a drunk Hari tries to snog her. David gives Katie a lift home and they end up in a passionate embrace, but they worry when they realise that someone may have spotted them. Paddy is delighted when Rita turns up for the Kings party looking stunning but he narrowly averts a disaster when he pushes Rita out of the way of Marlon's oncoming car. Rita thinks Paddy is a real hero and embarrasses him at the party by singing his praises to the guests. Lisa still has her suspicions that Rosemary is trying to take Zak away from her and she gets Del to give her a makeover in an attempt to keep Zak interested in her. Lisa is hurt when she heads over to Home Farm to see him and catches her hubby teaching Rosemary how to catch trout. Rosemary makes a quick exit and Zak reassures Lisa that she's the only woman for him. Also, Chas makes friends with Carrie.
