Desperate Paddy uses Aaron to cover up his affair

Rhona was puzzled when she heard a phone beeping in Paddy’s jacket because she could see that his phone was clearly on the bar. Paddy could hardly tell Rhona that it was his secret phone for his secret affair with Tess - so he told her it was Aaron’s phone… And Aaron went along with the lie because he saw that Paddy desperately needed him to. Once he was alone with Paddy, though, Aaron told him he wanted the truth or he would tell Rhona the truth. Now Paddy was feeling the pressure and he had to make a choice…

Tess was feeling the pressure, too, but from a different source. She was at work, where she was being interviewed about Paddy and Rhona by a social worker from their adoption process and she was struggling to say the right things about the couple.

Belle was definitely not playing nice, having led her father, Zak, to believe that she was hearing voices again. Belle is determined to force Zak to choose his family over Joanie…
