A game of tag is underway at The Mill, and although Daniel is against it at first, his playful streak soon gets the better of him...

The medics at The Mill love a bit of friendly rivalry, don't they? Remember that table tennis contest back at Christmas? Anyway, this week a game of 'tag" is underway at the surgery and the boys are taking it very seriously - even the sometimes stuffy Daniel Granger!

Surgery boss Daniel is initially against such childish antics but his playful streak soon takes hold and he joins in. However, he's not amused when colleague Al Haskey finds a crafty way to tag Daniel!

And Daniel's day doesn't get any better when he discovers his estranged wife Zara Carmichael wants to take their young son Joe on a trip of a lifetime to Tanzania to see safari animals. How will the doc react when he discovers Zara has gone ahead and booked the trip without his permission?

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!"
