Doctors spoilers: Is there heartbreak in store for Al's mum Eve?
Just as Eve and Ray's wedding plans are in motion on Doctors, Eve makes a startling discovery that could jeopardise everything...
Al Haskey (played by Ian Midlane) has decided to give his mum Eve's (Rachel Bell) fiance Ray Hopkins (Bruce Alexander) a chance on Doctors. Even though he has had his suspicions Ray is a conman out to take advantage of Eve who has dementia.
But after some no-nonsense advice from friend and work colleague Ayesha Lee (Laura Rollins), Al can see that his mum is happy with Ray and he doesn't want to take that away from her or fallout out with her again, as has happened in the past.
With Eve and Ray wanting to get married as soon as possible, Eve asks Al to drive her into town so she can start looking at wedding dresses.
But first, Eve decides to let her WI friends know she is getting married. However, instead of a load of messages of congratulations, she receives messages of a very different kind and they do NOT leave her in the mood to celebrate...
WHAT is the discovery that could jeopardise Eve's future happiness with Ray?
Meanwhile, Daniel Granger (Matthew Chambers) has convinced his soon-to-be-ex-wife Zara Carmichael (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh) to get on board and help him tell their young son Joe about Daniel's new relationship with Becky Clarke (Ali Bastian).
Zara is worried for Joe, who has been hoping his parents will get back together again. But she's in for a surprise, and left feeling slightly miffed, when Joe does not react to the news the way she feared.
Elsewhere, Dr Sid Vere (Ashley Rice) offers support to Michael Evans (Nicholas Tizzard), a friend of his dad, who is struggling with getting older (and wearing an unconvincing wig!) and having a younger girlfriend, Yasmin Mitchell (Elinor Lawless).
But Sid finds himself helping Michael play detective, when Michael becomes convinced Yasmin is at a loca hotel, cheating on him with a younger man!
But what will they discover at the hotel?
Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One
