After his colleague DCI Mark Addison's unexpected arrest, Rob is determined to get to the bottom of the Grant Hill murder and confronts Charlotte...

The pieces of the puzzle in the Grant Hill murder-mystery have fallen into place for Rob Hollins after the shock arrest of his colleague DCI Mark Addison as the killer! So that means Grant's wife Charlotte (played by ex-Corrie star Debra Stephenson) who was originally sent to prison for the crime is definitely innocent. Or is she?

Rob visits Charlotte to break the news of Addison's arrest for Grant's murder in 2007 and reveals the two were secret half-brothers and Grant had been blackmailing Addison at the time.

However, all may not be as it appears and when Rob starts to question Charlotte about her supposedly perfect marriage to Grant, he realises she'd been keeping some secrets...

Meanwhile, surgery receptionist Valerie Pitman, who recently found herself in the frame for Grant's murder because of her previous attraction to him, discovers a clue in the local Letherbridge newspaper that could help crack the case. But will Valerie be in time to share the news with Rob before a SHOCK turn of events?
