Doctors spoilers: Is romance in store for Dr Al Haskey?
It looks like there's romance in store for Al, when he is reunited with a very special vicar, Frances Harrison, who has a BIG question for him...
Dr Al Haskey first met Frances Harrison when he attended his estranged father's memorial service back in 2017, and she turned out to be a family friend who gave him more of an insight into his father's life and helped him deal with a Haskey family rift.
So the medic is in for a pleasant surprise as he's reunited with vicar Frances, when she arrives at The Mill with local vicar Gordon Clement.
Frances reveals she has a new job in New Zealand, and Al offers to accompany her when she visits her former lecturer, Bob Steele ,and his grand-daughter Audrey, who both turn out to be big fans of space, just like Al. He's super-excited when he discovers Bob was a member of the original Apollo crew!
Meanwhile, the doc's surgery colleague Ayesha Lee sneakily phones him while he's out and about, knowing Al secretly has romance on his mind where Frances is concerned!
After spending an out-of-this-world day together, Al decides to move in for a kiss! But it looks like the romance could be short-lived when Frances makes a shock announcement...
Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One
