Marlon and Eli get dressed up as a vicar and chef as part of their plan to break Debbie out of the hospital. Zak and Shadrach wait nervously in the van with a gun as Zak is determined to do whatever it takes if the initial plan fails. Eli and Marlon find the girls and he attacks the prison officer with Danielle's help. Eli is crushed when Debbie refuses to go with them to protect Sarah. Debbie tells Eli not to let Sarah forget her and they choke back their tears. Nicola's plan to spend some alone time with Mark is thwarted when Natasha arranges a meeting for the same time and demands Nicola's presence. Nicola thinks Natasha suspects something. When Natasha speaks to Nicola about the meal she becomes even more confused about what's happening and comes to the conclusion that both Mark and Natasha are after her! Nathan agrees to help Natasha out and collect Will from school. Nathan doesn't show and Sam takes Will home when he comes to collect Belle. Natasha is furious with Nathan and Nathan simmers when Sam is pronounced the hero by the other Wyldes. He follows Sam back to the Dingles and launches into a verbal attack for making a fool of him. An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
