Emma and Howard wake up in bed together and Emma writes in her 40-day date diary – they broke all the rules but the sex was great! When Howard suggests they ditch the rule-book, Emma refuses - the 40-day date is back on!
Al thinks it's ridiculous but Niamh tells him she's learned things to use in her next relationship. Al asks if she has someone in mind and the couple exchange a lingering look. It's clear Al may have just missed an opportunity.
Also, Zara comes into work feeling positive, as she's back with Daniel. Later, she admits to Howard that she may have been a little harsh on Sid. She offers Sid a genuine apology and Ayesha overhears, realising how badly she treated Sid.
