Bernice Blackstock is humiliated when Leanna secretly cooks up a plan to make her look idiotic in front of Liam

Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) have been meddling to split up Bernice Blackstock and Liam and Leanna goes one step further by telling Bernice (Sam Giles) that the dress she is planning to wear to the gala isn’t suitable at all.

A worried Bernice rushes into town and hastily picks an unflattering and dated red ballgown upon Leanna’s advice.

Bernice is mortified when she realises Leanna has set her up to look idiotic

However, when she later totters into the Woolpack wearing the garment and also a sparkly tiara, she’s mortified to realise that Leanna has stitched her up!

Liam is taken aback to see Bernice's outfit

Her date, Liam (Johnny McPherson) is bemused to see her in the outfit but when Bernice starts laying the blame on Leanna, he immediately springs to his daughter’s defence leaving Bernice out in the cold!

Bernice’s daughter Gabby steps in to comfort her mum but feels guilty about her own part in the plan.

Elsewhere following Faith’s ultimatum that it’s either her or Rodney, Pollard starts to think of a way he can keep both parties happy and tells Rodney (Patrick Mower) he needs to fake an illness to get Faith (Sally Dexter) off their backs!

Meanwhile, Nicola, Priya and Graham have a meeting but when Graham cracks open a beer, Priya starts to worry about his fragile state of mind. Nicola however has no such qualms and immediately spots an opportunity to gain control. Will Graham take the bait when scheming Nicola offers him some wine?
