But Bernice, who's just turned 50, lives to regret her vanity when she suffers an allergic reaction and has to be rushed to hospital…

When Bernice's boyfriend Liam (Jonny McPherson), who's a doctor, arrives on the scene he can't believe Bernice and Kerry's stupidity. As Bernice's loved ones pitch up to keep vigil, they reel in shock as they're told Bernice's facial paralysis could be permanent.

At Butler's, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) is going out of her mind with worry about her husband Cain who seems to have vanished into thin air. When Cain (Jeff Hordley) finally appears, his wife is horrified as he falls through the door all bloodied and bruised having been beaten up by Isaac and co. Will he tell Moira what happened when he went to confront her son Matty's attackers?

Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) is pleased when Dawn tells her she's going to a Narcotics Anonymous meeting, and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) insists her girlfriend Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) tells her what knows about her son Ryan.
