Emmerdale spoilers: Cain forces Robert to own up about his life sentence

Robert Sugden is worried when Cain says he won't lie to Aaron in Emmerdale

After Cain insists Robert tell Aaron about his life sentence – which could ruin their marriage – Robert chooses the worst moment possible to break the news

Emmerdale bad boy Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) has got Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) on the ropes. He's found out that his nephew Aaron's (Danny Miller) husband is looking at a possible life sentence for what he did to Victoria's rapist, Lee Posner (Kris Mochrie). But Aaron is under the impression the consequences for the crime are far less severe.

With Cain breathing down Robert's neck about coming clean, Robert's stressed out enough as it is when Liv (Isobel Steele), Aaron's half-sister, then has a seizure in the cafe! As those on the scene leap into action to help Liv, Robert, paralysed with fear, weakly manages to call an ambulance.

Later, Robert tells Aaron the words he really doesn't want to hear. Fed up with Robert's lies and secrets, and knowing this could well be the end of their marriage, Aaron rages at his hubby. Will he tell the rest of the family?

Secret toker Doug (Duncan Preston) has a sneaky spliff outside the village hall. For his back pain, of course. But when someone gets a whiff of it, recovering drug addict Dawn (Olivia Bromley) is blamed by Charity (Emma Atkins)!
