Emmerdale spoilers: With the Woolpack CLOSED owner Charity gets inventive
The village pub is riddled with dry rot but savvy landlady Charity won't let that stop her selling booze…
Emmerdale's Charity (Emma Atkins) loves scheming and scamming. And with the pub shut because it's riddled with dry rot, she's given the chance to dream up a new notion. But what has the feisty landlady got planned? And will pub cook Marlon (Mark Charnock) approve of the set-up? Will the villagers' thirst get quenched or are they going to have to booze in Hotten?
It's exam results time for Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) but with all that was going on with his teacher Maya in the run up to his GCSEs not much studying went on, if any. As his parents David (Matthew Wolfenden) and Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) hope their lad has done enough to scrape through, there's disappointment all round when they arrive. As his loved ones rally to buoy Jacob's spirits, Priya (Fiona Wade) reaches out in sympathy and invites Jacob for lunch. But things don't go to plan…
Elsewhere, Kim Tate (Claire King) is brewing up a new nasty plan. Uh oh.
This is the first of tonight's visits to Emmerdale on ITV.
